Optical sensors operate without contact. These detect objects regardless of their nature (eg shape, color, surface structure, material). The basic operating mode is based on sending and receiving light. Three models are distinguished: 1. The barrier photocell is made up of two separate pieces of equipment, a transmitter and a receiver, which are aligned with each other.
