The analog Kuhnke FIO module AI8-I has up to 8 individually programmable inputs. Per channel are signals in the range between 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA processed. The value range of each channel can be configured via the process image. The current inputs can be used both for connection of the passive as well as active current sensors. All inputs are digitized with a resolution of 12 bit and transmitted electrically isolated to the master control. The signal state of each channel is indicated by the terminals associated LEDs. Because of the channel seperated configuration, the variety of modules within a system can be significantly reduced.
