This magnetic safety sensor is designed for use in safety circuits to monitor the position of movable safety guards according to EN ISO 14119 and EN 60947-5-3. It requires the use of BPS 16 actuators and is not compatible with conventional magnets. The sensor features three cable entries (M20 x 1.5) and a thermoplastic enclosure, suitable for environments such as the food processing industry.
It offers concealed mounting options and has dimensions of 52 mm x 90 mm x 32 mm. The device provides long life with no mechanical wear and is insensitive to transverse misalignment and soiling. It includes a coded reed contact safety switch, with an assured switching distance "ON" of 8 mm and "OFF" of 18 mm.
